A design Academy built by practising designers.
Ovi Design Academy started in a small studio in 2021 with a simple belief: good designers are built through real work, honest feedback and mentors who care. That belief still shapes how we teach UI UX, Figma, portfolio building and career preparation in Kolathur, Chennai.
2021
The idea. Two designers, one whiteboard, and a promise to build the training program we wished existed when we started out.
2022
First 30 students. Word-of-mouth batches. 100% of the first cohort landed design roles within 4 months.
2023
We Opened our Academy in Kolathur.
2026
Startup India recognised and became a Figma Authorised Training Partner.
