#RoadToUXI25
The energy was incredible as Chennai officially kicked off the journey to UXINDIA25 with a vibrant Pre-Conference Meetup hosted at Ovi Design Academy — the proud Venue Partner for this exciting event.
This inspiring half-day gathering brought together UX professionals, students, educators, and design enthusiasts from across the city. It wasn’t just another meetup — it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the ever-evolving world of user experience.
A Gathering of Great Minds
The event opened with warm welcomes and an electric sense of anticipation. As part of the national #RoadToUXI25 series, the Chennai meetup set the stage for meaningful conversations ahead of India’s largest design and innovation conference, UXINDIA25.
Guided by Rajkumar, Founder and Mentor at Ovi Design Academy and the City Leader for Chennai, the event showcased the power of community and shared learning. Rajkumar’s leadership and passion for nurturing design talent were at the heart of this successful gathering.
Highlights from an Inspiring Lineup
Each talk added a spark of insight, blending creativity, strategy, and empathy in true UX spirit.
- Nirmal Sheethal (UI Designer, Zoho Corp) explored “The UX of Feeling” — a thoughtful dive into how emotions shape user experiences.
- Aman Bansal (Senior UX Designer, FYNXT) unpacked the real impact of UX practices on product success.
- Jairaj Ramendran (UX Program Manager, Hewlett Packard Enterprise) discussed “Words that Work”, showing how content design strengthens user experience.
- Monisha Dhanesh (Senior UX/UI Designer, Extraa) inspired the audience with her talk on “Designing for Agentic AI and Beyond”.
- Ravichandran Nagarajan (Director of Engineering, Digital.ai) bridged tech and UX in “Redefining UX for Modern Development Projects in the AI Era”.
- Preena Bhaskar (Founder, Web Imaginers) closed the session with “A Launch Rooted in Creativity”, encouraging designers to innovate fearlessly.
More Than Just Talks — It Was a Movement
Beyond the sessions, the morning was filled with conversations, laughter, and the unmistakable buzz of creative minds connecting. Students had the chance to interact directly with industry professionals, ask questions, and gain practical perspectives on design careers and emerging technologies like AI.
The event wrapped up with a renewed sense of purpose — to create, collaborate, and continue growing as a design community.
